Finding a Way to Laugh and Protest

Wired magazine reports that protesters at Occupy Wall Street were joined by a superhero, Unemployed Man.  Beneath the mask was Gan Golan, who produced the graphic novel The Adventure of Unemployed Man in 2010.  He was joined by other actor/characters who did battle against the villains, Pink Slip and The Outsourcer.

Some will dismiss such action as trivial.  However, the best types of protest – think Huckleberry Finn – are done in a spirit of humor and comedy.  Hopefully, Unemployed Man and his allies will win the day.  If not today, maybe tomorrow.
