What is Falling Faster than Jobs? Pay.

Once again, Laura Clawson hits a home run in the Daily Kos.  Her report today examines the median wage and how it has fallen over the past few years.  The median wage is $26,400, which means that the bottom half of wage earners are making this amount or less.  A graph in the report shows that wages are falling faster than job growth.  Our politicians talk about deficits and jobs.  Almost no one is talking an economy in which workers are asked to give back more and more, or pay more and more for health care.  This situation cannot continue, or the Bank Crisis of 2008 will be the “Good Old Days.”
